New in September 2010 for all students

New in September 2010 for all students

The new Live@EDU service will start in September and will give you an email account plus online working space that you can access from anywhere. You will still have a College email address on this space – but also extra file storage that you can access from anywhere – as well as a place where you can share files with other people on your course.

There’s access to the College address book, instant messaging, Microsoft Office 2010 Web applications and lots more.

What’s more, you can keep your area when you leave us – so your work is still available to you.

Important

It’s a big change – one that more and more Universities and College are making. Your existing College email account - and its content - will disappear over summer as the new service is created.

Very Important

After 23rd July, 2010, your existing email account will go.

Very, Very Important

If you need to move anything over from your old email, then start to do that now - maybe moving it to a private email address just until the new service is up and running in September.

How will I access the new service?

In September there will be links to Campus 2010 on the VLE, on Intranet and directly advertised. These links will take you to the new information about the new service and how to use it.

Have you ever been walking around a student city and experienced harassment or verbal abuse? It's often that students in the UK experience such things whilst living in a new city, but in Bradford a scheme has been set-up to help combat such instances: the student safe spot scheme.

For further details about the scheme go to:
