Through this qualification you will develop both skills and knowledge in health and safety for yourself, your peers and your clients. You will learn how to conduct a thorough consultation prior to starting a service and understand how the choice of shampoos and conditioners can affect the hair and scalp. You will be able to cut basic haircuts and dress clients hair, and learn about the various colouring and lightening products and techniques. For our optional unit you will develop a sound knowledge of how the hairdressing industry works
